On larger sizes, two signs never lie: the band should stay perfectly horizontal without riding up at the back, and the cup should fully enclose the breast without overspill or gaping. For a fuller bust, support relies on three construction elements. Full cups, which fully cover the breast and support it from below rather than compressing it. Underwiring, which frames the bust and channels the weight towards the band. Wide straps and a reinforced back band, which relieve the shoulders and prevent neck strain. A plus-size bra puts more strain on its elastics and underwires, so care is decisive in preserving support. Favour hand washing or a protective laundry bag at 30 °C maximum, with a mild detergent.
