Underwire bras, when well positioned, play an essential role for larger band sizes: they define the cup, hold the bust upward and prevent the fabric from distorting throughout the day. In 110C, it is important that the underwires are suited to the width of the cup — too short, they dig into the bust; too wide, they rub against the sides. Why is 110C a size apart?

Every size demands a different design, more resistant materials and precision in proportions.

A 110C bra starts with a 110 cm back band that must remain stable, non-deformable, without compressing the back or riding up. It then requires C cups cut for this band size — not the same cups as a 75C or a 90C with a simply wider band. Finally, the underwires must follow the morphology of a larger frame: wider, better anchored in the fabric, designed to absorb the weight of the bust over the long term.

Plus size lingerie does not mean no style

This is the most widespread misconception about plus size lingerie: beyond a certain band size, you would be condemned to plain beige and purely functional models. At Sans Complexe Paris, we refuse this compromise.

Colours, fabrics and finishes: our 110C makes no compromises

Plus size is not synonymous with imposed discretion: it is a choice you make according to your mood, not a constraint imposed by the catalogue.

Styles not recommended in 110C: what is best avoided

The bandeau and the wire-free triangle are not suited to daily wear in 110C: they are not designed to support a larger band size and quickly give way under tension. The push-up is not recommended either — it adds volume to the cup without improving support, which can create uncomfortable pressure by the end of the day. The backless bra with crossed straps should be handled with care: if the back strap is convertible, it can work, but a fixed crossed strap on a 110C risks riding up and creating friction points. The simple rule: for a larger band size, always favour models with a straight, wide and well-stitched back band.
