Warm or cold tones: knowing the difference and choosing your colours

Now that you know your profile, let’s discover the colour palette, warm or cold, that’s adapted to your skin colour.

• Warm tones

Warmer tones span the yellow, orange, red, brown, beige and nude colours. These colours have yellow pigments.

• Cold tones

Colder tones include blue, green, violet, black and white. Blue is the dominating tone.

Each colour tone has its nuances—blue is a cold colour which can be warmed up with a touch of yellow. Turquoise and peacock blue are often warm blues. Adding a touch of blue to a red, such as a raspberry or cherry red, makes it cold.

Your colour profile will let you wear all the tones you love, in the warm or cold tones that suit you best.
